One of the most promising young strikers in Europe at the moment, Porto striker, Andre Silva is targeted by a multitude of clubs, including Arsenal according to Portuguese news outlet O Jogo.
Arsenal have been tracking the star since the under-20 world cup season, where he scored four goals. This season the young striker has started well, scoring five goals in seven appearances for Porto. Internationally, he earned his first call up to the senior squad in August and most recently, Silva bagged a brace of goals against the Faroe Islands earlier this week.
Wenger has now told Arsenal to up their pursuit in signing the striker and see if they can indeed pry him away from Porto. Silva is strong, a good finisher and makes excellent runs in behind the defence; he is a constant danger in the box and really is along the lines of a number nine. If Arsenal can snag him, they could have a future star on their hands, albeit they will face competition from Juventus and Atletico Madrid.
