Aaron Ramsey is set to be included in Arsenal’s matchday squad against Reading tonight, according to the Mirror, although Arsène Wenger declared that the EFL Cup tie against Reading was too soon for Aaron Ramsey to come back into the squad. Apparently, Wenger thinks he is capable of coming on from the bench, and will, therefore find himself among the substitutes on Tuesday night.

The Welsh international has been out for 10 weeks now after suffering a hamstring injury against Liverpool in the first Premier League game of the season and will be looking to replicate his outstanding form at the Euros for Arsenal. As Arsenal approach a run of crucial games that return of Ramsey could be decisive, with successive games against Tottenham, Manchester United and PSG. Our new number 8 will be a very welcome addition to the squad, just like Olivier Giroud, who is also set to make his comeback against Reading, after recovering from a toe injury.
