Arsenal have a few injuries ahead of the game against Tottenham on Sunday. Nacho Monreal, Hector Bellerin, Santi Cazorla and Theo Walcott all missed the trip to Bulgaria in midweek and could still be missing for Sunday’s game.
As reported by Arsenal.com, Wenger confirmed that Bellerin should be ok for Sunday’s game and was left at home for Tuesday’s game against Ludogorets as a precaution. Cazorla, Monreal and Walcott will all have fitness tests to see if they are ok for Sunday.
In other news, Kieran Gibbs picked up a knock on Tuesday night and could be out. Although Spurs have had a stuttering start to their European campaign, they remain unbeaten in the League, which will add even more emphasis to a derby which already carries so much intensity. Although we are still relatively early into the season, this is a very crucial game for both teams.
