Alexis Sanchez picks up injury with Chile

Chilean sports outlet EMOL are reporting that Alexis had to leave Chile’s training session earlier to undergo some tests having picked up an injury, with some speculating that the injury was a calf muscle tear, which would rule him out for several weeks. The Chilean FA, however, released a statement saying that it was a contracture of the femoral triceps, causing fear among Arsenal fans that the new striker would miss the decisive games against Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

After the subsequent tests, the Chilean FA released a communiqué, stating that Alexis had a low-grade muscular injury, ruling him out of Thursday’s trip to Colombia but that they were hoping of having him fit for the decisive World Cup qualifier against Uruguay,

LaRoja also released a tweet to support Alexis Sanchez but it is unsure whether or not the picture is from before or after the injury but it is confirmed that they’re trying to have him back by next Tuesday, let’s just hope he comes back fit for Arsenal.
