Arsenal have now joined Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Hamilton Academical youth star, Ronan Hughes, according to the Daily Record. Hughes has attracted multiple clubs from England and looks set to make a move south of the border.

Hughes became the youngest ever player to feature in the top flight when he made his debut against Inverness last season at only 17-years-old. The youngster – who joined the Accies at the age of 10 – has made three appearances for Hamilton this season and is regarded as one of the best youngsters in Scotland.

If he does make the move to the Premier League, he will follow on from ex-Accies youth products, James McCarthy and James McArthur. Both have established solid careers at Everton and Crystal Palace respectively. The youngster has a host of clubs to pick from, with Everton and West Ham also showing an interest.
