AS Roma have returned to prominence this season under the guidance of manager, Luciano Spaletti. One of the standout performers from this resurgence has been 22-year-old midfielder, Leandro Paredes, who according to Tuttomercatoweb (h/t Goal.com) is attracting interest from Arsenal.
Paredes has established himself as one of Spalleti’s regulars and has certainly rewarded his manager with some excellent performances. The Gunners have already made contact with the players’ representatives and are keen to push through a January move. The Argentinian play still has just under three years left on his current deal and it is unlikely that Arsenal could seal the move in January as a move in the summer looks more feasible.
Paredes certainly would increase Arsenal’s depth in midfield, although with Cazorla and Ramsey returning from injury, he may face some stiff competition.
