Arsene Wenger has revealed that he will have one player back from injury and much sooner than expected. Although Hector Bellerin was originally expected to return sometime closer to Boxing Day, the young Spaniard could possibly be included in Arsenal’s squad to face Stoke City on Saturday, as reported by Sky Sports.
‘Coming back into the squad are Francis Coquelin, who was suspended at Basel, and maybe Bellerin, he will have a test’
Bellerin has missed six games for the club, after suffering an ankle ligament injury after the ‘North London Derby’. Since then, Arsenal have trialled three different players at the position; Jenkinson struggled, Debuchy picked up an injury while Gabriel has been very solid.
The 21-year-old took part in light training earlier in the week before joining the full squad later in the week and could well play on Saturday.
