Arsenal have been working with sports Psychologist, Dr. Ceri Evans, the man employed by New Zealand’s all-conquering All Blacks side, in a bid to improve their sides’ mental strength, according to The Telegraph. According to reports, Arsene Wenger has bucked his own personal trend and turned to the psychiatrist, who has also worked with the Mercedes F1 title-winning team, in an effort to bring the Premier League crown back to North London. In years gone by, a weak mentality has been associated with Arsenal and it seems the club are finally looking to address that.
So far this season, the Gunners have shown greater resolve in grinding out results when not playing well with draws against PSG, Manchester United and Spurs, all which may have ended in defeat in seasons gone by. Unbeaten in the league since the opening day of the season, it appears as though Dr. Evans’ influence is already being felt at the Emirates.
