Arsenal youngster set for January move

After reports of a lack of professionalism, Daniel Crowley’s loan spell with Oxford United was cut short and the youngster returned to Arsenal. This follows on from last season, where Crowley was recalled from his loan spell at Barnsley, where Crowley failed to get much game time.

GoonerTalk now understands, that after a successful trial with Dutch club, Go Ahead Eagles, Crowley will officially join the club when the January transfer window opens. Arsenal’s head of academy, Andries Jonker, recommended the young Englishman to head coach Hans de Koning who was very impressed with what he saw of the midfielder, he told Voetbal International

‘Crowley has made quite an impression. He belongs in terms of technical skills among the better talents from Arsenal, but in England are also asked other things. He’s strong on the ball and can play well between the lines. We see in him a number 10, but also on the left side’
