Arsenal have long been linked with Benfica winger, Goncalo Guedes and now, according to Calciomercato, Valencia have joined the race for the Portuguese winger.
Guedes is regarded as one of the best young prospects in Europe at the moment and has rightly attracted interest from multiple clubs. The young winger is seen as an ideal player for Arsenal in the future. With Walcott nearing 30 and Oxlade-Chamberlain seemingly inconsistent, a young and potentially world class winger would be a smart addition to Arsenal’s squad.
Valencia have excellent relations with the La Liga squad, having signed Joao Cancelo, Enzo Perez and Rodrigo, and thus have a good chance in signing Guedes next month, if not the summer. Valencia, however, have been struggling this season and currently sit 17th, while Arsenal would surely provide a more attractive option for the youngster as they sit in the top four of arguably the best League in the world.
