Arsenal join Juventus in hunt for Ligue 1 star

According to reports, Arsenal have joined Serie A giants, Juventus, for Lyon midfielder, Corentin Tolisso.

Juventus see Tolisso as a future replacement for Khedira and Marchisio whilst also being a player who can fill the void left by Arturo Vidal. The midfielder has been a top player for Lyon this season and at 22-years-old, is regarded as one of their best prospects and yet another top player to come through their famed academy.

Wenger has been keeping an eye on the talented midfielder, who admitted earlier this season that he ‘dreams’ about playing for Arsenal in the future.

Juventus, however, could offer Tolisso an equally enticing prospect as they are not only the best team in their League but also one of the best in Europe and will be contenders for the Champions League once again this season.

Apparently, Tolisso’s price tag has significantly risen since the summer, as Lyon now value him at £34 million.
