“We need a top striker. Sign him up” – Fans react to apparent bid for Serie A star
As many news outlets have now reported, Torino’s sporting director has confirmed that they received a substantial bid from Arsenal for their star striker, Andre Belotti.
It has been reported that Arsenal had bid in the region of £56 million for the Italian hotshot which was rejected by Torino. Having signed a new contract with the club, Torino see him as much more valuable than the amount offered. Moreover, the Italian striker does have a €100 million release clause inserted in his new deal.
