“Welcome Ashley Cole. Off to Chelsea in 2022” – Fans react to Bramall signing
Arsenal announced the signing fo non-League star, Cohen Bramall as their first and probably only January acquisition.
The 20-year-old will cost a fee of £40,000 and will join Arsenal’s under-23 team for the time being.
Wenger has praised the qualities of Bramall, such as his “tremendous pace” and quality left foot. Moreover, the French boss has even gone as far to compare the youngster to England great and ex-Arsenal star, Ashley Cole.
Although he may turn out to be Arsenal’s only signing of the month, Bramall received generally positive reaction on Twitter from the Arsenal faithful.
