Arsenal linked with move for Man City shot-stopper
|Arsenal are interested in signing Manchester City’s on-loan goalkeeper, Joe Hart, according to the Daily Mail.
Arsenal are going to be in the hunt for a new number one goalkeeper come the summer, which could see Petr Cech become the second-choice shot-stopper at the club. Due to some below par performances from Cech, Arsenal have identified Hart as a possible candidate to take over from the ex-Chelsea man, although they won’t be the only club interested in the England international.
Liverpool have also been linked with the City ‘keeper who is aware that he will not be part of City’s future under Guardiola and is having a solid season with Torino. Arsenal will also have to decide on the future of on-loan Roma goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny, come the end of the end of the season.
Szczesny has a contract at the club until 2019 but Roma are reportedly interested in signing him on a permanent deal.
Manchester City will be looking for upwards of £15 million for Hart in the summer and could well offload him to a Premier League rival.
