|Speculation has grown over the last week or so that Arsene Wenger could finally put an end to his time at Arsenal. Rumours emerged that Arsenal had drawn up a four-man wishlist of managers to replace the Frenchman, including Borussia Dortmund boss, Thomas Tuchel.
Following the rumours linking him and Arsenal, Tuchel spoke ahead of Dortmund’s game against Darmstadt insisted that he was unaware of the move and that he is happy at the Bundesliga club.
Moreover, Dortmund’s CEO, Hans-Joachim Watzke has concluded that there has been no contact between Dortmund and Arsenal, as he told Sky Germany.
“It is a fact that nobody from Arsenal called us. We’re taking about completely fictional stuff here.”
“Some day in May we will sit down and analyse this season. He is still under contract here for another year. That’s why I don’t understand all the speculation.”
