Robert Lewandowski: We expect a tough test against Arsenal

Although Arsenal picked up a win at weekend, the mood around the Emirates isn’t exactly positive especially with the huge Champions League tie against Bayern Munich looming. Robert Lewandowski, however, think the German team will be in for a tough test against the Gunners. 

After a late brace from Arjen Robben, Bayern Munich increased their lead to seven points on top of the Bundesliga but as Lewandowski told the club’s official website, they are completely focused on beating the Gunners. 

“The win in Ingolstadt was very important. Now we’re focused on the Champions League.”

“Everyone’s waiting for this game. It will be a big challenge for us. I hope we can deliver a good performance and play really well here in Munich.”

“Arsenal have very good footballers. They know what it means to play in the Champions League. We need to concentrate on ourselves. If we play our game then Arsenal probably won’t get many chances. But we must play well from back to front.”
