Italian journalist confirms Arsenal interest in Napoli star
|According to multiple reports, Arsenal have identified Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne. Arsenal scouts apparently watched Insigne during Napoli’s game against Chievo and now Arsenal are set to open talks with the forward, as reported by Italian journalist Nicolo Schira.
Napoli are desperate to sign Insigne down to a new deal with his current contract set to expire in 2019. Although Napoli are keen to keep him at the club, they are only offering €3.2 million per year, while the player is holding out for €5 million.

Arsenal had been interested in signing Insigne back in 2015 and after a season where he has so far scored eight goals and six assists, they could well go back in for him if he doesn’t sign a new deal.
