Although Hector Bellerin signed a new long-term contract last November, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have identified him as their main target this coming summer.
Since the departure of Dani Alves, Barcelona have failed to replace the Brazilian, instead deciding to convert Sergi Roberto into a right-back. Originally a central midfielder, Roberto has not exactly filled the boots left by Alves and following his torrid night against PSG, the Catalan club are ready to push for Bellerin.
According to the Spanish outlet, Barcelona regard Bellerin as the ideal long-term replacement due to his age, previous history with the club and his experience in Champions League football.
