Arsenal’s star midfielder to miss Bayern Munich game

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Mesut Ozil will miss tomorrow’s match against Bayern Munich. 

The German international missed Arsenal’s 3-1 loss to Liverpool at the weekend due to illness and despite the fact that he has returned to full training, Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he is not fit enough for the game tomorrow. 

“Ozil is not in the squad. I don’t think he’s ready physically. “I think he will be ready for the weekend.”

Arsenal go into the game 5-1 down after the first leg and could well be without both their star players as Arsene Wenger also hinted that Sanchez might not start tomorrow night. 

“I haven’t decided yet [about Sanchez starting against Bayern].” 

“When [Sanchez] did not perform away when we lost too. We lost at Chelsea. We lost at [Manchester] United. We lost at [Manchester] City.”
