Arsenal to offer star huge pay rise to keep him at the club

According to the Mirror, Arsenal have made an incredible £280,000-a-week offer to remain at the club. 

Mesut Ozil only has 15 months left on his current deal and it is still incredibly unclear if the German will remain at the club or indeed leave in the summer. Ozil is currently Arsenal’s highest paid player on £140,000-a-week and has been holding out for a slary that would make him one of the highest earners in the Premier League. 

Arsenal had offered Ozil a new deal which would take his salary to £200,000-a-week, however, with Sanchez likely to go, the Arsenal board are desperate not to lose their two, star players.
