Barcelona to bid £35m for Arsenal star

According to Spanish news outlet, Sport, Barcelona are ready to bid £35 million for Arsenal right-back, Hector Bellerin. 

Bellerin joined Arsenal in 2011 from the Spanish giants and since breaking into the first-team in 2014, he has been constantly linked with a return to the Catalan club. Bellerin did sign a new six-and-a-half-year deal earlier this season worth around £100,000-a-week but Barcelona still believe they can lure him from Arsenal. 

Manchester City are also interested but Barcelona have already spoken to the players’ representatives and according to the report, have also made an appointment for Dick Law to meet the club’s representatives to discuss a potential deal next month.

Barcelona believe a bid around £40 million will seal the deal as they look to solve their right-back position.
