Wenger confirms that he has made “decision” on his future

Arsenal slumped to yet another loss this weekend as they were completely outplayed by a much superior team in just about every aspect of the game. Following the game and in somewhat surprising fashion, Arsene Wenger admitted that he had decided on his future.

Even before the final whistle, Wenger faced new-found criticism from the fans. Not only were the usual “Wenger Out” banners present but also a plane carrying a banner calling for the Frenchman to leave.

Wenger has always insisted that he has still not decided his future but when asked if announcing a decision could lessen the pressure on him, Wenger admitted that he had indeed made a decision, as reported by Standard Sport

“I don’t know. Don’t worry. I know what I will do in my future. You will soon know. How soon? Very soon. You will see. Today I don’t worry about that. We are in a unique bad patch that we’ve never been in for 20 years. That is for me much more important than my future.”

When asked if anyone at the club knew of his decision, Wenger responded: “I know what I’ll do. Have I told anyone else? No no no no.”
