Contrary to reports, Arsenal have not made an approach for Borussia Dortmund manager, Thomas Tuchel.
According to German newspaper, Bild, Arsenal have been in contact with Tuchel to replace Wenger at the end of the season, Arsenal, however, have now denied those claims.
Following Arsenal’s 3-1 loss to West Brom on Saturday, Wenger announced that he had finally made a decision on his future and would make it public “very soon”. Wenger is expected to discuss his contract with the board during the international break and will likely announce his decision next month.
Arsenal are now in one of the worst slumps of Wenger’s tenure and although he is facing supreme pressure, there has been speculation that he will sign a one-year deal with the club.
