Barcelona set to lure potential Arsenal manager to Spain

Barcelona have identified Max Allegri as a replacement for Luis Enrique, Italian publication Premium Support have reported.
The Catalans are reportedly willing to offer the Italian as much as €8m a year with the contract running for three years. The initial contact has already been made, while Juventus’ UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Barca may well be an audition for the highly-rated Allegri.
The report would come as a blow for Arsenal who are also lining up the former AC Milan manager as the successor to under-pressure Arsene Wenger. For months now, he has constantly been linked with a move to The Emirates Stadium, however, the La Liga giants’ interest may take the lead in the negotiations as it is still unclear whether Wenger will stay at the Emirates or depart.
