Arsenal plan huge summer rebuild with Ozil and Sanchez set to depart

According to John Cross of the Mirror, Wenger is ready to sign a new two-year and is resigned to losing both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

Arsenal have offered both players much-improved deals, with Ozil having been offered a £280,000-a-week deal. The club, however, have accepted that both players will likely leave the club but are ready to hand Wenger a budget of over £100m budget in the summer.

Arsenal have identified Kylian Mbappe, Marco Reus, Moussa Dembele and Alexandre Lacazette as their targets up front. Arsenal have also been scouting Dembele and believe he could be lured to London, while they could once again bid for Lacazette.

The Gunners are also keen on a new goalkeeper with Joe Hart, Jack Butland and Jordan Pickford all targeted with Ospina is likely to depart. Moreover, Kieran Gibbs has only one-year on his contract as of this summer, while Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are being tracked by Manchester City and Man U respectively. Aaron Ramsey could also be deemed surplus to requirements with Ross Barkley on Arsenal’s list of replacements.
