Contract Update: Arsenal ready to offer star man a bumper new deal

In a very difficult period for the Gunners, both on and off the pitch, The Evening Standard reports, via James Olley that Arsenal will offer a massive £300k-a-week contract to Alexis Sanchez in order to fend off interest from Manchester City and Chelsea.

This offer could make Alexis Sanchez would put Sanchez in the realms of the highest earners in the league alongside Paul Pogba and Wayne Rooney. 

Currently on £135-a-week and said to be happy in London, it is now up to the Chilean to decide whether or not to accept this offer. With 1 year remaining on his contract, the next two months will be key to clarify Alexis and Özil’s respective futures.
