Big loss for Arsenal as striker and defender are set to miss FA Cup game

Arsenal face Manchester City this Sunday in a crucial FA Cup semi-final match which will have huge ramifications on the Gunners’ season, but Wenger will be without Shkodran Mustafi and Danny Welbeck.  

Although Arsenal got back to winning ways last Monday, the Gunners are still locked in a tough battle for the top four.With that in mind, FA Cup glory could be more important than ever to appease an uneasy fan base. 

Ahead of this weekend’s game, Arsene Wenger gave an update on the squad. 

“The latest team news from last weekend is that everybody should be available. We have an uncertainty about Danny Welbeck, and Shkodran Mustafi is out. That’s it.”

“He [Danny Welbeck] is a doubt for the semi-final, he will have tests today and tomorrow to see if he will be available.”
