“Proud of all the lads today” – Arsenal fans praise the team after an incredible performance
Anxiety, despair, joy, these were all the emotions that Arsenal put the fans through this afternoon. The Gunners put in an incredible performance to take a 2-1 over City and advance to a third FA Cup final in four years.
Arsene Wenger surprised us all by sticking with the 3-4-3 formation he played on Monday but for most of the game, Arsenal looked very comfortable in the new shape. Yes, it wasn’t Arsenal at its most attractive best but it was a performance that the fans love, especially when it means progressing to an FA Cup final.
Rightly so, the fans were overjoyed with the win, so here’s what they had to say.
