Laurent Koscielny could miss Sunday’s crucial North London Derby due to an injury sustained against Leicester City last night.
Koscielny did finish the game but seemed to be struggling from a problem with his right knee. Following the game, Wenger confirmed that the Frenchman had indeed picked up an injury but was unsure how long he would be out for.
“Koscielny has a knee problem but I don’t know how long he’ll be out for. I have to check because I don’t know yet.”
The loss of Koscielny could prove to be costly as Shkodran Mustafi is still out with a thigh injury. Wenger will be forced to decide between a switch back to a four-man defence or as he did against Leicester, switch Monreal inside to play as one the three centrebacks.
