Arsenal have shortlisted Hoffenheim’s, Alexander Rosen as a potential candidate for their new director of football role, according to the Mirror.
Rosen has been a key part of Hoffenheim’s success this season which saw them guarantee a top-four spot and therefore, a Champions League place – the first in the club’s history. The director of football appointed rising managerial star Julian Nagelsmann who at only 29 has taken the club from avoiding safety to one of the surprise packages of the Bundesliga.
Rosen has joined Marc Overmars and Michael Zorc on the list of candidates for the new role despite opposition from Arsene Wenger.
