Arsenal’s star defender a doubt while Xhaka is set to be fit for Saints clash

Arsene Wenger has delivered both good and bad news ahead of Arsenal’s trip to the St. Mary’s Stadium, where they face Southampton. 

Speaking to the media about Laurent Koscielny confirmed that Koscielny could miss the game, while the news on Xhaka was more positive.

“Koscielny he might not be available, he will have a test today, Xhaka similar but he looks to have recovered well, news for him is better”.

Koscielny’s injury might come as a big blow for the Gunners, although Shkodran Mustafi’s return to the side is a big positive.

Arsenal travel to the South Coast on Wednesday needing a win to keep their pursuit of a 21st consecutive finish in the top four on track.
