Arsenal have reportedly sounded out Borussia Dortmund’s Michael Zorc according to The Telegraph.
An exclusive report suggests that the Gunners used a firm of London-based headhunters to approach the German, who is now said to be keen on the move to the Emirates Stadium to fill the newly formed Sporting Director role at the club. Though the firm has denied or given any sort of confirmation, the fact that Arsenal have been their clients in the past, does tell you a lot.
The interest comes as result of Arsenal’s recruitment and other management-related issues that haven’t been handled particularly well by Arsene Wenger.
Ajax’s Marc Overmars – a former Arsenal player – is also among the potential candidates for the position.
