Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain may yet be fit on time for the FA Cup final, Sky sources understand.
The 23-year-old sustained a hamstring injury during Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Southampton, joining Laurent Koscielny in the treatment room. However, the injury that was earlier feared to keep him out for the rest of the season is only a minor hamstring injury.
Chamberlain has played an important part in Arsenal’s recent run of form, including the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City as he ran the show at Wembley.
Shall he manage to make it on time, it’ll be the Ox’s first appearance in an FA Cup final, having missed the previous two.
