Pete Crouch responds to claims over “handball goal”
|
Arsenal stormed to a 4-1 win yesterday over Stoke City in commanding fashion yesterday, to keep their race for a top four spot well and truly on.
The Gunners were cruising to a victory leading 2-0 and playing some really nice football. With the introduction of the beanpole that is Peter Crouch Arsenal suddenly had an aerial threat to deal with and eventually Crouch did make Arsenal pay.
The England international guided the ball home from a cross to make it 2-1 albeit in controversial fashion. The striker blatantly used his hand to knock the ball and was rightly criticised by the Arsenal fans for it.
Crouch responded to the claims of handball in somewhat cheeky fashion.
