“Mesut Ozil is literally the love of my life, the man is unreal” – Fans praise Ozil after virtuoso performance

Another win, another three points and one last chance to get top-four. It may not have been Arsenal’s greatest performance but thanks to Sanchez and Ozil, the Gunners sit one point behind Liverpool. 

For much of the game, Arsenal looked sloppy and seemingly unable to break the wall that is Jordan Pickford. Mesut Ozil, however, was at his mercurial best tonight as he constantly looked to slide in cutting passed and basically run the show for Wenger’s men. 

The German finished with 12 chances created, the most by a player since the stat began, so here’s how the fans reacted.
