Arsenal are considering a £20m summer move for Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina, reports Standard Sport.
The highly-rated 23-year old has been likened to Paul Pogba, with the Gabon international having a similar playing style and physical attributes.
Given the ability, the playing time he has under his belt – a mere 15 starts – may come as a surprise, but that’s mainly because of the other replacements that Juventus have, the more proven and established ones.
Lemina now understood to not be a part of the Italian Champions’ future plans, he would reportedly be willing to look for potential suitors elsewhere, FC Schalke, Roma and Liverpool being the other interested parties.
Regardless, a transfer will depend largely on Arsene Wenger’s future, since the targets may have to be reassessed shall the Frenchman decide to leave.
