Breaking News: Stan Kroenke issues statement following Usmanov bid
Arsenal shareholder and metals magnate, Alisher Usmanov made a £1 billion bid to take control of the club last week but majority shareholder, Stan Kroenke has insisted that he is not willing to sell the club.
The majority shareholder, who also own the LA Rams and Denver Nuggets, however, has confirmed that his Arsenal “shares are not, and never have been, for sale”. Kroenke also insisted that he is a “committed, long-term investor in Arsenal and will remain so”.

The news comes at a time, where some were indicating that Kroenke was wavering and if Usmanov came in with another bid, would finally relinquish control of the club.
