Arsenal offer starman mega £20m-a-year deal to ward off Bayern Munich
|Bayern Munich have reportedly pulled out of the race to sign Alexis Sanchez according to German newspaper, Bild.
Bayern Munich have long been linked with Sanchez and were thought to be closing in on signing the Chilean for a fee around £50 million. Today, Bild has announced that Arsenal have made a huge contract offer to Sanchez, consequently, ruling Bayern Munich out of signing him.

Arsenal have reportedly offered Sanchez a salary of €20 million per season, much more than Bayern’s €12. 8 million proposal. Robert Lewandowski is Bayern’s top earner at €16 a year and are willing to go above that for Sanchez.
Arsenal’s proposed contract offer would put Sanchez’s contract at around £330,000-a-week, more than double his current salary.
