According to Sky Sports News, Juventus have agreed a £14 million deal for Arsenal goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny.
The Italian champions have agreed a four-year contract worth £3.5 million with the Polish international, who has spent two successful seasons on loan with Serie A rivals, AS Roma.
It had been thought that Szczesny would return to Arsenal to carry out talks regarding his future with the club before any move to the Italian champions was agreed. Indeed, the ‘keeper himself had spoken of his hope that he could return to the Gunners and fight Cech, for the first-team spot.
Now, however, it seems that 27-year-old will join Juventus and play second fiddle to Buffon, who is thought to be retiring following next year’s World Cup.
