Alexis Sanchez: My future is in my agent’s hands

Amidst speculation of a move to one of Bayern Munich or Manchester City, Alexis Sanchez has admitted that he is happy to leave his agent to sort out his future.

The forward has one year left on his deal and has been increasingly linked with a move away from the club, even though Arsene Wenger remains adamant that neither Sanchez, nor Ozil will be sold this summer.

City and Bayern Munich have emerged as favourites to sign the Chilean star, although some reports have concluded that the German champions believes they have been priced out of a move for Arsenal’s star man.

Speaking to Cooperativa ahead of Chile’s Confederations Cup campaign, Sanchez insisted that his future will be settled by his representatives.

“I’m looking at what my agent is doing. For now, I’m focused on the [Confederations] Cup in Russia and trying to do well.”

“The truth is that my agent will see to it. He knows and he will sit down with the club to look for the best option for me. I’d like a lot of things but I’m only thinking about the national team.”
