Arsenal ready to bid £31.5m for FC Porto striker
|Arsenal are ready to join the race for Porto striker, Yacine Brahimi, according to Portuguese newspaper, Correio de Manha (h/t talkSport).
Arsenal are showing heavy interest in the striker who has been linked with a move to Everton and West Ham. Arsenal are prepared to pay £31.5 for the Algerian international as Porto are looking to raise money through player transfers.
Porto, however, have set a £35 million price-tag on the forward, a valuation that Arsenal are unwilling to pay. Talks between the two clubs, therefore, have stalled but with Porto needing to sell players in order to comply with UEFA Financial FairPlay regulations, it’s unlikely the club will be able to force Arsenal’s hand.
