Everton to bid £20 million for Olivier Giroud

Everton are preparing a £20 million bid for Arsenal striker, Olivier Giroud according to John Cross. 

The Frenchman signed a new deal in January, which would take him up tp 2020 but with the impending arrival of Alexandre Lacazette, it seems Giroud could well be on the move. 

Giroud had to fight for his place last season as he was often left on the bench for Alexis Sanchez, something he insisted he would not do again. Moreover, with the World Cup coming next summer, it is imperative that the 30-year-old continues to get game time and could well make the switch to a Premier League club, with West Ham also interested.
