Arsenal set sights on 18-year-old Toulouse sensation

According to French news outlet, Le 10 Sport, Arsenal are considering a move for Toulouse goalkeeper, Alban Lafont. 

The French ‘keeper broke into Toulouse’s first-team at just the age of 16 and has since solidified his position, becoming the youngest goalkeeper in 30 years to reach 50 appearances in February. 

Arsenal have been tracking the youngster since last season see Lafont as a possible long-term replacement for Petr Cech. Moreover, with David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny likely to leave the club, Arsenal may well need a backup goalkeeper. Such has been the impressive performances of Lafont, that Lazio, Porto, Bayern Munich and Juventus are all interested in signing the under-20 international.
