Arsenal fans’ hopes of seeing Thomas Lemar play for them in the coming season have taken a serious hit as BBC reporter, David Ornstein says that the club are less confident of completing the deal.
Ornstein is a highly respected figure among Arsenal fans and the news coming from him will be very discouraging. He has also stated that the Gunners wish to hold on to talisman, Alexis Sanchez, who recently stated that his future depends on what the club wants.
With the departures of Bernardo Silva and Tiemoue Bakayoko confirmed, Monaco are now less likely to sell off one of their prized assets.
Recent reports had speculated that Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Lemar, who apparently was keen on making the switch to North London. If the latest development is true, Arsene Wenger will have to look elsewhere in order to strengthen his midfield.
