Arsenal refuse to sell Sanchez amid PSG rumours
|Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez’s move to Parc des Princes is not the foregone conclusion that it was initially reported to be, according to Le Parisien.
Alexis Sanchez was in Paris to meet PSG’s Sporting Director, Antero Henrique to discuss a possible move to the Ligue 1 giants. A deal in principle was agreed upon by the two parties according to multiple reports but latest speculation states that the Chilean’s representatives’ demands were too much to accept for PSG combined with Arsenal’s willingness to not lose their star man has allegedly put the move in jeopardy.

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger still hopes to tie Sanchez down to a long term contract, in spite of the player’s public statement about his intention to play in the Champions’ League. Arsenal remain steadfast in their ambition to keep their star man and have rejected multiple bids from PSG, including a potential swap deal for the Chilean.
Sanchez’s wage demands are reportedly exorbitant and may be out of PSG’s budget if they have to fund a move for Barcelona star Neymar as well. However, ESPN have reported that the chase for Neymar and Alexis have no bearing on each other.
