Turkish club begin talks with Arsenal over Jack Wilshere

Turkish club, Antalyaspoor have enquired as to the availability of Arsenal midfielder, Jack Wilshere, according to the Express, although West Ham are his preferred choice.

The Gunners are ready to offload the injury-plagued 25-year-old this summer. The midfielder only has one year left on his current deal and has attracted interest from Swansea and Sampdoria, with the latter having a £7.5 million bid rejected.

Wilshere spent last season out on loan with Bournemouth and although he managed to get through most of the season relatively unscathed, the England international fractured his leg which ruled him out for the remained of the season.

It is thought that Arsenal will accept a bid of around £20 million, an amount which Antalyaspor club president, Ali Safak Ozturk confirmed may be too exorbitant.

“We made an enquiry and are in talks but Arsenal want a lot for Wilshere.”

“It will be a difficult move to pull off.”
