Arsenal target Jadon Sancho withdraws from Man City training to force move away
|Arsenal and Tottenham target, Jadon Sancho, has returned to London in order to push through a move away from Manchester City, according to the Independent.
The 17-year-old forward has returned to London with no intention of returning to Manchester. Sancho only has one year left on his scholarship contract and has asked to leave City as he does not see a clear pathway to City’s first-team.
Tottenham had asked City to include the youngster in the Kyle Walker deal but were rejected. Spurs and Arsenal remain the favourites although RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund – who Sancho was close to joining in 2015 – are both keeping tabs on the youngster.
If Sancho were to leave, City would be due a £4 million compensation fee. As it stands, Sancho is waiting to be released from the club after he rejected a £30,000-a-week contract to remain at the club.
