Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has not given up all hope of becoming a Gunner’s regular once again according to the Daily Telegraph.
Wilshere was considered one of England’s brightest talents and had been earmarked for becoming the face of Arsenal. Instead, he has seen his career derailed by injuries and was shipped to Bournemouth on loan when he should be at his peak. Recent calls for a new midfielder and lack of first-team opportunities hinted at a move away from the club.
Interest from Sampdoria and Antalyaspor had put question marks over the Gunners’ number 10’s future but recent reports suggest that he will remain at the club to fight for a spot in the first eleven. It should also be noted that Wilshere’s contract runs out next summer, thus the upcoming season is going to be crucial in determining his Arsenal career.
