Swansea City target Arsenal outcast Carl Jenkinson

According to John Cross of the Mirror, Swansea City Manager Paul Clement is targeting Carl Jenkinson to bolster his defence.

Jenkinson is one of the players that Arsenal have been trying to offload for some time. After a deal with Crystal Palace fell through in January, Jenkinson now has the opportunity to sign for another Premier League outfit.

It is understood that Arsenal are looking to trim down the squad before looking to add any further additions and Jenkinson, along with a number of other Arsenal fringe players are being allowed to leave this transfer window. It is said that there is a possibility of a loan deal instead of an immediate sale.
