Gunners complete deal with Italian outfit for midfielder
|Serie B side, Empoli have confirmed the signing of Ismael Bennacer on a permanent deal.
The 19-year-old’s chances of getting any first-team have looked pretty bleak at the club, with a raft of players ahead of him, including Francis Coquelin, Jack Wilshere and Mohamed Elneny on the bench. Indeed, the youngster has failed to really make his mark in the youth ranks either, since making his debut for the Gunners against Sheffield Wednesday in the League Cup in 2015.

Bennacer made 16 appearances in Ligue 2 last season for Tours and even spoke about his desire to make another loan move away from Arsenal. The Algerian was snapped up by Arsene Wenger from Arles in 2015 and has become the latest academy player to leave the club.
